Ubuntu for Desktop Users:
Ubuntu is one of my favorite Linux distribution. Ubuntu is very fast, reliable and easy to use Operating System. Ubuntu is and always will be, absolutely free of cost as promised by the creator of the Ubuntu. Ubuntu is developed by thousand of programers across the world. Ubuntu is available in multiple languages. Ubuntu comes with number preinstalled applications and can be customized as per your need. One of the best things about Ubuntu is that you do not have to bother about the device drivers like any other operating systems. Ubuntu comes with preloaded device driver for different range of hardware devices. You will rarely have problem getting your favorite gadget work with Ubuntu. Ubuntu has out of box applications which can guide any newbie to configure his PC for network connection and tune it for the best performance.
Ubuntu has very nice user interface and graphic display when it comes to Desktop Operating System. Apart from great look and graphics it offers, Ubuntu can be customized for some cool eye catching 3D effects too. Ubuntu operating system can be used by PC users of any age group as it offers applications and form of entertainment for everyone.

Free Open Source Software
Hi friends,
Just thought of creating my first blog on Open source softwares. I am basically a Desktop user in linux. I love linux and want to learn more. I believe there should not be any proprietary softwares to control our computer in the world of open source software. For those who are new to open source softwares please click here, With this Blog i will try my level best to help those people want to get on with Open source but don't know where to start. I will guide all those starter struggler. Here are few things you have to look out for before going for open source.
There are hundreds of Linux Distribution and its very difficult choose one. For a beginners i will advise to use Konoppix which doesn't even required any installation. You can run Complete Operating system from a single CD/DVD. Knoppix comes with hundred of inbuilt applications.
One of my favorite Linux Distribution is PcLinux.
PcLinux is very easy to use and everything (like audio video) works out of box.
I will advice all the novice in linux to try out this distribution and get started.
For people who really want to excel in linux can try out distributions like Fedora, ubuntu or any other debian distro.
In next blog i will show you how to install an operation system on a machine you own.
